I'm ok Mom!

I think maybe Eric and I have been maybe a teensy weensy bit protective of Elli. These days anytime we here any bump, crash, boom or bang, 9 times out of 10 it's followed by a loud "I'm ok Mom!" We just love this girl...

Do you think this house is a gym?

Since Elli has started taking gymnastics, she has decided that the whole world is her own personal gymnasium. She is constantly doing somersaults, her version of cartwheels, jumps, headstands, you name it, she does it. Well, this particular day we had blown up the air mattress for Elli's big sister (who happens to be Eric's oldest daughter and my bestest friend in the whole wide world :) to sleep on. Elli decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to "practice" her gymnastics. First, she would "spot her landing." Next she would run full speed ahead and do a somersault onto the air mattress. Eric and I laughed and laughed and laughed until she got too close and hit the couch and then we made her put it away! Crazy kid!

So I've had a few friends (Thanks Kim!) tell me about their "blogspot" and I thought I would give it a try. Maybe this way I can keep in touch with some of my family and friends that I don't talk to as frequently as others. We'll give it a shot and see how it goes!
